Fourth grade is in gear! We are looking forward to a very exciting and fun filled year. We will be studying the history and regions of Texas as well as our own backgrounds in the unit titled "Roots and Wings". In the spirit of adventure, we will be studying explorers of Texas and the world, and we will become explorers ourselves when we examine biodiversity, oceans, and food chains in some of our science units. We will also weave fifteen essential lifeskills into every unit we teach to produce a child who is not only a well informed student but a well rounded human being.
